SIOBHAN HIND

Siobhan has more than 6 years of experience working in boarding roles in international colleges in the UK. She started her boarding school career in 2014 as a Senior Boarding Tutor at Bishopstrow College, the ‘sister school’ of Padworth, before moving on to Bellerbys College, Cambridge in 2016 as a Houseparent. These previous roles included developing and implementing sports and activity programmes with international students, including coaching rugby, basketball, football, netball, badminton and running fitness classes.

In 2019, Siobhan joined Padworth College as a Housemistress and Head of Sport, before taking on a new role as Head of Boarding in January 2021, where she oversees the pastoral care of all of our boarding students.

As well as holding a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Aberystwyth University and a Master’s degree in Sport and Health Science from the University of Exeter, Siobhan holds the BSA Advanced Certificate in Boarding Education as well as Mental Health First Aid qualifications.

Siobhan comments: “There are many things that I love about being part of boarding at Padworth, but the main thing is the sense of community that has been created here. Everyone, both staff and students alike, look out for each other and it feels like one big family.”
